The Center for Research in Electro-Acoustic Music and Audio, CREAMA, is active in the education and research of contemporary electronic and computer music, the development of creative music through new media, and the promotion of electronic music works. CREAMA, which is actively engaged in the field of electronic music both domestically and internationally, hosts an annual summer computer music open course and invites institutions related to electronic music such as Cycling ‘74, Groupe ÉNÉE, IRCAM, GRAME, IAMSA, STEIM, as well as research institutes or university studios, and composers to conduct seminars on their research trends and works. Additionally, CREAMA introduces premieres of creative works and electronic music-related pieces with prestigious performance groups from both Korea and abroad, such as Ensemble TIMF, Moitie, Jean Geoffroy, Quatuor Diotima, Shadow Play, EOC, and explores new artistic methods and creation through cooperation with other art fields and disciplines.
